二、英语介绍信技巧

1、介绍信的定义

通过对某人的情况介绍让收信人对被介绍人有一定的了解，并使他们相互认识，从而解决被介绍人的一些实际问题，这样的英语书信就是介绍信。

2、介绍信的类型

正式介绍信（formal letter introduction）

正式介绍信一般是写信人因为公事将自己本单位本部门的某人或业务关系人介绍给某单位或某个人，从而处理一些同公务有关的事宜或进行业务接洽。这种介绍信格式要求规范、严谨，语气比较正式、庄重。

非正式介绍信（informal letter of introduction）

这是一种个人与个人之间交流的介绍信，用以介绍朋友相互认识，介绍某人前往办理事务，或有什么事请朋友帮忙，等等。这种介绍信一般从词语的选用到行文都较随意。

3、介绍信的内容和写作注意事项

介绍信的内容：被介绍人的基本情况

不管由于公事还是由于私事，介绍信应首先介绍前去联系的人的基本情况。所谓基本情况主要包括被介绍人的姓名、职务、与写信人的关系等。

介绍的原因和目的：

向收信人说明被介绍人前往是为了开展什么工作，办理什么事情，需要收信人给予哪些具体帮助或照顾等。
